Naming New Baby
Well....we have not decided on a name yet for the new baby and are struggling significantly. We'd like something different; not in the top 50 or even top 100 names if it can be avoided. So this rules out the Aiden, Kaden, Jacob, Michael, Logan, John.... A couple of our top names are "controversial"; maybe too odd, too old, and possibly too girly. We've been avoiding others opinions, but I need to breakout on these and see what you guys think.
The last four, I am not sure Allen is even considering (he has been the king of vetoing), but I'd be curious of thoughts anyway. They are not in favorite order necessarily.
Oh, and Gavin's favorit right now is "Gooey".

Current Pregnancy Update
I supposed the name of this blog is in accurate now though Gavin always makes three and baby X makes 4, but we'll use it for now anyway.
I am currently about 30 weeks pregnant and things have been going pretty well. No major complaints by any means. For the last few days, I've been having more than the acceptable amount of contractions which is a little frustrating. I've been having a few contractions since as early as 15 weeks, but nothing major and nothing outside of the normal range. I was told not to worry until I had more than 4 in an hour at this point.
Now, these aren't labor, doubling over in pain contractions, these are just slightly uncomfortable to painless contractions of the uterus making it feel hard as a rock.
Well Thursday night I had 10 from 8pm-9pm and 6 from 9pm-10pm (at least they were spacing out). I called my nurse and was instructed to come into the office first thing in the morning to see what is going on. I had an ultrasound which showed the baby looks good, my cervix nice and long and closed as it should be, so that was a good thing. However, I was still contracting about every 5-10 minutes so they sent me home with procardia, a medication to help stop the contractions. That means I got sent home from work which sucked. Hopefully that will not be a trend. Throughout the day they drastically improved with the procardia so I'm hopeful for no more contractions.
This week has been better. I can tell you when my 6 hours (interval between pills) is up because I start contracting more frequently, but the medication is obviously working. The only bad thing is it makes me alittle light headed now and then and causes my feel to swell. Oh well....better than premature delivery :)
